Red From Within (shown) and Bright Blue Mist will be on display at the Chicago Sculpture Institute gallery. They are designed as collaged images on canvas.

Using found materials and canvas printed with collaged images, these pieces are free-thinking, abstract designs. They are intended to engage the viewer to look deeper at their environment, both internally and externally.

These pieces was accepted into the Chicago Sculpture Institute (CSI) gallery  "Abstract Expressions." exhibition. They will be on display at the CSI gallery space in Chicago from June 5-July 31, 2026.

Sunshine is a design based on the healing powers of sunlight and the connection to all life.

Imagine going outside on the first bright sunny day of spring and feeling the sun on your face. By taking in the rays, you become one with nature, one with the universe.

This piece was accepted into the Chicago Sculpture Exhibit and is on display at Belmont Avenue and School Street in Chicago.

It will be removed in June and relocated to the Rochester Art Museum's Art4Trails exhibit located in Rochester, MN.

Where Does the To-Go Go? is a visual representation of all the discarded containers I find during my daily walks.

Since Covid, the amount of these one-use containers has exploded and the ones that don't find themselves in trash containers end up on the street. Do people really think about where these unrecyclable containers end up? Just fly away?

This piece was accepted into the CAVA 36th Annual Member's Exhibition at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. It will be on display until March 7, 2025.

Ode to George Ohr is my tribute to the great ceramic artist from Mississippi known for undulating handles, fantastical shapes and rich colors.

This three-dimensional work is made of high-fired ceramic, colored underglazes and clear glazes. The lid is hand carved and set in place.

This piece will be on exhibit during the Chicago Exhibition Weekend (CXW) which celebrates visual arts organizations across the city. It will be on view at the Bridgeport Art Center, Chicago, Illinois through November 5, 2023.

Broken Snap Outline 2.tif

Broken | Snap is my first large scale sculpture. It is a 10-foot high plasma cut steel structure finished with black automobile paint and white oil marker. It has been accepted into the 2022 Chicago Sculpture Exhibit.

This is a large scale, three-dimensional work. It is being sponsored by the Chicago Wolves Hockey Team.

Broken and Snap are two words I've seen used by graffiti artists I wanted to create something more permanent, with dimension, unlike the graffiti.

This sculpture will be on exhibit outside of Hibbard Elementary School at Argyle and Spaulding until August 2023. Over the course of the year Broken | Snap is on display, I am hoping it will become a canvas for other to leave their mark, adding stickers, color or other graffiti.

Street Communications is my first piece accepted in the 2022 Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists show "Later Impressions".

This is a smaller scale, three-dimensional work made of high-fired ceramic, underglazed and glazed. There are additional elements in steel, paper and rope. This is one of a series.

I see pipes as a form of communication, whether through the pipe itself (water, electricity, gas) or as a form of "town crier" with signs, graffiti or stickers attached by the public.

This sculpture will be on exhibit at the Evanston Art Center, Evanston, Illinois October 8 through November 5, 2022.
